Today is the day we take our art show down.

At the end of each show there is always that wish that the studio could magically expand to continue showing the work done...of course by now we'd have to have several thousand feet of space for such a thing.

We have enjoyed showing and sharing our work during December.
We have shows scheduled in 2012 for the months of May, July, August, and next December. We will keep everyone posted as those dates get closer.

Hope everyone has a happy creative New Year!

You may have noticed the "Donate" Button on several of our pages.

We debated as to whether we should include them on our site, but we've
decided to create an opportunity for people, like yourself, to support the arts, and in particular, an artist whose site you visit and whose work you enjoy.

Sometimes it's possible to buy art, and we are forever grateful to those who support our efforts that way, but there are also many many people who like to support in small ways. The Donate button makes it possible for us to receive your support large or small. We thank you for considering such a gift to fund the arts in this way.

Lots to do, Loads of projects and ideas just waiting for the picking. Yum.

Studios can be delicious. Sometimes you just have to savor the flavors of color, shape, texture.

The muse is chatting in our ear.

Hope your creativity is bubbling to the surface.

This is the time of year of the middle holiday, between Christmas and New Year's, when you find time for yourself and feel the expansion of the festive nature within you.

Deep breath everyone, and feel the creative spirit begin to spread its wings.

Happy continued holidays to one and all.

Time of thaw and melt.
On a day when you're at the house instead of the studio, you're apt to be asked to do a time experiment with grandchildren.

Today's experiment concerned how long it would take to freeze water in  a cup. Out comes the timer, set for one hour, to avoid the freezer door being opened a zillion, trillion, times. Nope. One hour was not enough. Yup. Another half hour did it.

Now we're checking the time it takes to melt. Timer set. Go.

Above image, one of last year's snows....can't remember how long it took to melt.

This time of year is a busy one for all of us, and here at the studio, it's a bit
like Santa's workshop.

Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season.

It is our hope that this coming year our site will be more interactive, and more informative of our process and shows even more of the multi-media work we do.

Lots of new ideas and fun ahead, hope the year has been kind to you and that the new one is even better.

This is the season. All kinds of things going on, both in and out of the studio.

Preparing for the presentation of our "Susanna's World" books, which comes up this Saturday at the Camden Public Library from 2 to 3 pm, if you happen to be in the neighborhood. We'll have a PowerPoint presentation of four of the books, with the real Susanna reading.

Hope your day is of the season.

It's been a few days since our last post. Trying to recharge our batteries.

It was a wonderful reception and performance, lots of people attending and enjoying the presentation. We were very pleased with the turn out and the evening. Thank you all who could attend.

The show is up for the month of December, and we recommend stopping back in to see the work. Without all the people, you can really spend time with each piece and feel the full resonance of the paintings. We certainly hope you have time to do that while the show remains up.
