Work in the studio requires time inside the work and time to expand out into the world, always a good balance.
Hope you have time to get out and take a break today.
Yup. It's important to take yourself out to the cafe as much as you can. Refreshes the batteries, nice seeing the peoples out and about, including yourself. Work in the studio requires time inside the work and time to expand out into the world, always a good balance. Hope you have time to get out and take a break today. Add Comment In the middle of things, there is always time to do new work. Hope your day finds you able to create. We have been working both at the studio and at the house. The ease of going back and forth between both places, as well as the work, has made it fun this week. Two sets of new steps are being made for the front porch, with the first set almost completed today, means we'll have the work completed by Wednesday. Creativity takes all forms. For those of you who work in a studio, you know what it means to be able to get out for awhile and take a break...not from creating, because that is always on-going, but just a shift in environment, and change of atmosphere. Today we are at a cafe. Creating. Painting, drawing, and writing, and with the sounds of people around us, it is refreshing to feel the hustle and bustle of other activity around us. Hope you are able to take a break from what you're doing and get out for awhile. This time of year, with the flowers beginning to appear here in the Northeast, always inspires the creative spirit. We are excited about this new work we are creating and the direction it is taking us. Our work always surprises us, and informs us, and guides us through the creative expression, as we open ourselves to the mystery within it. May your day provide you with a renewed creative spirit. Well, we're getting our second wind now and have been doing some painting. Hopefully this week we will get these images online and catch up with our site. Here's one of the new pieces. Hoping you are having a creative day today. We have been working on the studio for the better part of two weeks now, and we are finally just about finished. The aisles between the work tables are wider, which is a big help, the supply drawers are labeled and arranged they way we want them, the art work is set into place where we need it. Overall, we're just about done. Hope your day is a creative one for you. |
